Dear friends and colleagues
A case with broken rotary file inside ML canal of 47 tooth....
During cleaning and shaping of the root canals, the tooth broke a rotary file inside ML canal( Dentists never break a file)....
Usually I try to absorb the shock of instrument separation by analyzing the expected cause of its separation..I expected aberrant canal morphology to be the cause of instrument separation inside the ML canal....
I decided to bypass the broken rotary file using small K files size 8&10 in a watch winding motion with slight apical pressure aiming to creat a gap around the broken instrument...
After an hour of hard working, I succeed to bypass the file..
Continuing manual bypassing of the broken file up to size 25 K files followed by rotary Instrumentation up to 30....
Following master cones confirmation, Ultrasonic activation of the irrigating solution was done...
Dryness of the root canals was obtained and the canals were obturated with WVC utilizing GP and MTA sealer...
The home message to all followers is;
The time you spend in manual glide path of the root canals is much shorter and more enjoyable than the time you spend to bypass the broken instrument..
