  • Does occlusal reduction decrease postoperative pain????
    There is a common belief that reducing the occlusal table decreases sensation of postoperative pain after root canal treatment especially in case of teeth suffering from irreversible pulpitis...
    It is the time to close the debate regarding this issue based on an evidence based endodontic practice....The research found that there is no significant effect of reducing the occlusal table on post operative pain after RCT...On the other hand very little research talk about reducing postoperative pain after 12 hours ...
    In conclusion , don’t reduce the occlusal table after RCT....
